What do you want to be when you grow up?

Remember when you were a kid and got asked the question, "what do you want to be when you grow up"? I think my answer was something like Fireman or Engineer. Turned out that 'Engineer' was pretty spot on. If you were to ask a young child this question today, the likelihood that the job they aspire to may no longer exist by the time they enter the job market.

Technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics is changing how we perceive "work" and many of the traditional professional paths and trades will look a lot different in the near future. So how can we then prepare our kids for the opportunities they will face as adults?

At STEM Punks, our mission is to 'Inspire Tomorrow's Innovators'. This is a philosophy that runs through all our programs. The key with this approach is that our focus is not on technology but on enabling creative and innovative minds. Yes, technology is a big part of what we do, but the goal is to teach kids and young adults how to transform ideas into tangible outcomes in a fast and cost-efficient way.

With a mindset based on these principles they will become innovative and entrepreneurial thinkers with skills that reach far beyond AI and Robotics.
